Currency Converter
Convert between 30+ world currencies at live mid-market rates — the date of the rates is printed right on the page, and if the live feed ever fails, a clearly dated backup table takes over instead of silently showing stale numbers.
Rate source: built-in backup table (November 2026). Converted figures update as you type.

How it works
Every rate is stored as "units per 1 US dollar", so converting A → B is amount ÷ rate(A) × rate(B) — the same mid-market method banks use before they add their markup. Rates are fetched live when the page opens from a public exchange-rate feed, and the page tells you exactly when they were updated. If the fetch fails (offline, blocked, feed down), the converter falls back to a built-in table and says so, with its date — you always know how fresh your rate is.
Frequently asked questions
Are these exchange rates really live?
Yes — when the page loads it fetches today's rates from a public feed and prints the update time above the converter. If that fetch fails for any reason, a built-in backup table (dated November 2026) is used instead and the page labels it clearly, so stale rates are never passed off as live.
Why does my bank give me a different rate?
Banks and transfer services add a markup (typically 1–5%) plus fees on top of the mid-market rate shown here. This converter shows the mid-market benchmark so you can see exactly how much a service is charging you.
What is the swap button for?
It exchanges the From and To currencies in one tap, so you can check the reverse conversion — handy when a price is quoted in the foreign currency and your budget is in dollars.
Which currencies are supported?
More than 30 majors and widely used currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, INR, MXN, BRL, KRW, and many more. The live feed supports additional currencies beyond the backup table.
